M3E’s first international WELL project

Recently Prologis developed its first logistics facility in Germany with a WELL certificate. For M3E it’s the first international WELL project that’s going to be certified. It’s also the first logistical centre in Germany to meet the requirements of the WELL Building Standard.

Creating a pleasant working environment

The project is outfitted with special lighting and ventilation for employees in line with the WELL Building concept. Water dispensers, plants in the indoor and outdoor areas as well as art within the property offer employees a pleasant environment. Special attention has been paid to the workers in the warehouse with high levels of both daylight and artificial light and views on a plant-filled railing on the mezzanine.

Air and water quality are monitored throughout the property. In addition, offices and meeting rooms are equipped with excellent soundproofing. A total of six monitors are available to employees in the building, on which they can find information on air and water quality, indoor and outdoor climate, electricity and gas consumption as well as the departure times of local public transport.
